Born and raised in northern Israel, I am a professional costume and makeup designer with experience designing for local and regional theatres as well as short films, web series, and virtual live events. I am an associate professor of theatrical design at Earlham College’s Theatre Arts department in Richmond Indiana. I enjoy teaching, mentoring, advising, and collaborating with students, administrators, and faculty members hailing from all walks of life. I approach each class, production, and/or committee with passion, respect, and drive. My design aesthetic is informed by my education in and outside of my theatre training. As an educator I encourage my students to broaden their experiences and explore what both theatre and the world as a whole have to offer. I earned an MFA in costume design from the University of Iowa and a BA in Theatre Arts from Wheaton College in MA and am a proud mom of twins.
